Montreal Gastropreneur, Joey Ghazal , has developed dozens of popular restaurant and bar concepts across two continents and has been recognized by Caterer Magazine as 'Middle East Restauranteur of the Year 2018' and the '2nd Most Powerful Independent Restauranteur in the Middle East' in their yearly ‘Power 50’ issue.
Having earned a reputation for his 'fearless creativity', 'keen intuition' and entrepreneurial spirit, Joey founded Fighterbrands Holdings that designs all of the spaces and is very involved in all aspects of brand creation, menu development, recruitment and training. Joey combines the most sought after talent to create some of the most compelling and sustainable brands in the industry. His multidisciplinary approach has helped him in creating timeless and immersive experiences that always resonate with a sense of event and celebration. Joey is also the founder of ‘The Dubai Oyster Project’, in collaboration with the Arbor Ecological School and Emirates Marine Environmental Group to use the Maine’s discarded Oyster Shells to regenerate Dubai’s coast line, promote marine biodiversity and save the endangered Hawksbill Turtle.

Born in Montreal and raised in Dubai, Eddie Ghazal, a Lebanese-Canadian, boasts 18 years of experience in the hospitality and events industry. His expertise lies in crafting captivating concepts tailored specifically for the food and beverage sector.
Eddie's portfolio showcases a diverse range of acclaimed projects, including the iconic Nola Bijou City Walk and the innovative Masti, both of which have earned him recognition, including the prestigious Unesco Prix Versailles award. Additionally, his design for the Canary Club has garnered multiple accolades, cementing his status as a visionary in the field.
